People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is asking Ben and Jerry’s Homemade Ice Cream to begin using breast milk in its products instead of cow’s milk, saying it would reduce the suffering of cows and calves and give ice cream lovers a healthier product.
“If Ben and Jerry’s replaced the cow’s milk in its ice cream with breast milk, your customers — and cows — would reap the benefits”
“We’re aware this idea is somewhat absurd, and that putting it into practice is a stretch. At the time same, it’s pretty absurd for us to be drinking the milk of cows.”
This just seems like an attention grabbing method of PETA since they could have suggested something like soy as a replacement and stayed away from the shock value of human breast milk.

if this is in fact true… then this really IS fucking stupid!
first of all it is a privilege that most humans are lactose tolerant, it’s a genetic mutation which has been bought on by hundreds and hundreds of years of drinking cows milk, and maybe sucking on mummies’ boobs for a bit too long,
I’m pretty sure I would gag and wretch every time that I had a mouthful just thinking about the horey mingas’ that milk came from… but…
can you imagine a human milking shed? I’d certainly apply for the job
