FAKING IT

Unless you can stop your own heart beat, faking a heart attack in a room full of people including some who may have medical emergency training is probably not the best thing to do.

I would have gone with the old “popping a few Alka-Seltzer in my mouth and act like I have rabies” trick instead.

I have to applaud the man for keeping in character though he clearly wasn’t fooling anyone. That’s dedication to the craft.

  6. Blondie Says:

ok, a heart attack is NOT when your heart stops, thats called cardiac arrest, heart attack is when a corinary artery in the heart is blocked. Your heart still beats

  7. Damn Says:

    Dumbass

  8. Ryan Says:

I’d love to see the rest of that. That dude is very committed. If only he put that energy into not breaking the law.

  22. Sa Jofi Says:

This is so funny…he is very dedicated to faking his way thru the trial. I wouldn’t have been able to keep a straight face…the man is funny and stupid.

  23. Caliph Says:

Lol. Man somewhat an original idea, and dedication to the act, but there comes a time when its time to cut your losses. When trying to fool people who have medically trained people to call any bluff you have, its time to give up the act.

    Man, this is lol.

  24. thedoug Says:

I wish there was a follow-up. Quite hilarious. Any info at all. I wonder if he scored the mistrial or not? Doubtful :)

  25. Fox Says:

OMG that was pure fail on his part.
Bravo for sticking through his plan, but some people are just idiots.

  26. Dez737 Says:

I hope he opens a practice!!!! His practice would soooooo get me off the hook!!!!

  30. Zach Says:

    Hey thats my Birthday! awesome.

  31. Jesus Says:

i like his suit. i hear he did 45 years in the pooper.

  32. namnurse Says:

I think he should have a neurology evaluation. Was a Doc on hand to make a *qualified* diagnosis ? I wonder what he is accused of. I’d call it a mistrial.

  33. namnurse70 Says:

The defendent needs a Dr. and a Lawyer as it seems he was defending himself. EMTs, nurse, and medics are not doctors.

  34. michael Says:

he is was convicted of felonious assault and other charges. He is now serving a 42-year prison sentence.

  35. lost Says:

he is not smart he was in a room full of medically trained people

  36. the0ne Says:

    funny

  37. NAKEDnick Says:

stumbled. This is not funny. It’s a very serious infliction that a very good friend of mine suffers from. It’s called being an idiot. Lol. That trick may come in handy when he drops the soap though.

  38. metisdad Says:

I agree with NAMBURSE (both of ‘em) …I had this same thing happen to me and couldnt do a thing about it - not the trial or the charges - an episode where i had no control over what/when/how my body was. Not only had i spent time in hospital but with specialist, MRI’s,scans, blood work.
And with further complications - and increase of original symptoms…

If i felt at all inclinded to go into the story to come to defense of a man who may/may not have faked - gawd, it’d be a moment where i cared what others - other citizens of the world - thought… f**k.

do we not care anymore? Who cares if the guy is lying, give him some attention and find the root of the problem. Either way, FIND TE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM.

obvious evidence was presented in this video for him.

  39. Toeviltolove Says:

Ahahaha I stumbled here. This guy has something seriously wrong with him. It’s called dumb ass disease. I applaud his sticking with the ruse even though he was clearly faking it.*wipes tears from eyes*.Good laugh.

  40. David Says:

It is quite plausible to increase ones own heart rate past 120 beats per minute and elevate blood pressure enough to fake a heart attack I wouldn’t reccomend doing so. I have done the trick with my blood pressure before it always pissed off my docs seeing a reading of 200 over 150 then remeasuring and getting 90 over 50. I always love fucking with the docs, my favorite thing to do is eat asparagus before going in to do a urinalysis test I always come up clean for drugs I don’t use them but the stench of the urine makes the lab monkeys gag.

  41. mnjjvy Says:

im speechless. this is the dumbest dude i’ve ever seen in my entire life. i kinda feel sorry for him and… i dunno is kinda cute in a way, like retard people and baby cheempanzees.

  42. sev Says:

stumbled.. what a f*cking retard!! hahaha! probably couldnt fake a cough when that dude was in middle school.. hahaha!

  43. jdub Says:

    …genius!

  44. John Says:

You can tell by what the judge says that there is prior knowledge of this defendant’s behavior, and they expected such a display–and even so he was checked out by medics and nurses. The comments here that say he should have been treated better or been given a doctor and lawyer are missing the point. He was treated perfectly fairly and appropriately.

  45. Joe Says:

To make it real he should have pissed his pants.

  46. TJ Says:

    stumbled here…
    this is funny.

He has some issues to think he could actually pull that off

  47. Amanda Says:

    Stumbled!! Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah lol

  48. Ashley Says:

Are you sure he doesn’t have narcolepsy?

  49. Nat Says:

    Now THAT’S commitment!

  50. Frank Says:

@ metisdad the root of the problem was he was guilty motherfucker

  51. lol Says:

    lol!

  52. Josh Says:

As a paramedic of 15 years, I can tell he is having an acute case of Status Theatricus. Serious stuff.
