I cannot believe you guys, no matter who they are the prof is obviously doomed! His only way out? Well seeing as he will probably get shot anyways, he should make a mad dash for freedom right there and then, perhaps the guy with the “RPG-7″ thingy wil be as stupid as he looks and the profs death will not be in vain as he woul have rid the world of “8″ terrorists of undefined faith! The guy taking the pic is obviously one of them, or he too would be a prisoner, unless there are seven more holding 6 guns and an RPG-7 to his head, but then thats silly because that would make 15 terrorists and 2 hostages and the African Pirate boat would sink.
All arabs are not muslims… muslim is not a “race” but a religion… you can be a white guy coming from Texas and being a muslim, as you can be a black african muslim…
Minimum arming distance for the RPG-7 is 5m so the prof would definitely get his skull cracked and assuming the round continued to travel and eventually detonate upon impact with another target.
Also, even though Jihad has been by TV associated with Al Queda, it is a Muslim thing.
You guys are all waayyyy too critical. The person posting this is using internet slang, so that “Nuff’” is fine. And we know they’re not Al-quaeda. Seriously, it’s just a play on words at their expense, commenting on social stereotypes.
This is one of several photos released by the Nigerian “Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta” (MEND) after they kidnapped around a dozen oil workers about two years ago. MEND portrays itself as political organisation that wants oil revenues to go to the indigenous population, but in fact it is more of a cover organisation for several armed groups. Their attacks are generally against oil installations and often involve kidnapping foreign workers. They rarely kill their hostages deliberately, but will typically keep them in grim conditions for around a month or two before the oil company pays up.
Nigeria has some problems from Islamic Fundamentalists but what you see in this photo has nothing to do with Jihad, just everyday African violence.

Why are seven terrorists and one white professor-looking old guy on a boat on a river in a forest?
Why are they all pointing guns at him?

It seemed like a good idea at the time…

Probably fake. And “Jihad” is out of context since these are probably not arabs.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:27 pm
ahhh, the religion of peace strikes again
November 14th, 2007 at 11:26 am
Yeah, looks more like African pirates than Al-Qaeda

It is a funny picture of a person being stupid, but then again the caption under it is printed by someone stupid…
“Nuff’ said.” doesn’t make sense, the apostrophe should clearly not be in that spot.

Thats an RPG-7 by the way not a rocket launcher =p

I guess he’s a reporter being interviewed, and the “terrorists” are just showing their strength and mercy at the old man
November 22nd, 2007 at 1:23 am
Yeah, those are definitely African pirates, soooo….
I guess depending on where in Africa this is they MIGHT be Muslim, but “Jihad” is still probably not in the right context here.
Fail.

Oh damn, I had forgotten that the balaclava was standard head wear for Muslims. How silly of me.
Jackass.

“Rocket” propelled Grenade. RPG.
It’s a rocket launcher.
And at that range, part of the solid fuel rocket will still be inside the tube of the launcher. The warhead will not have armed itself yet, either.
It’ll still kill the white guy, but that’s about it.

Get over yourselves, you fuckwits.

Hey “232″ there is no way you are going to find a white Muslim in Texas! (that was born here)
Just a bunch of close minded Christian Republicans that voted for George Bush down here.
With a few exceptions.
